Erasmus + is an exchange programme for students, teachers and researchers, which involves EU member states as well as partner countries. The programme provides the opportunity to study, do an internship or teach at a foreign university with which an agreement has been concluded. The European Commission has named Erasmus+ the EU’s most successful educational programme and an important tool for cooperation between universities and students across Europe.
The strategy for 2021-2027 opens additional areas for cooperation: volunteering and active involvement in citizenship, internationalization, inclusion, virtual exchange as a tool of modern times, joint master’s programmes, research development in joint European laboratories, other plans for reform and modernization educational, scientific and social processes.
