University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić ( Veleučilište Baltazar Zaprešić ) – is a higher educational institution chosen by more than 7000 students. The University was founded in 2001. It was named after Balthazar Adam Krčelić, a famous Croatian historian, literary historian, theologian and lawyer of the 18th century. All study programs of the university are original and unique and they were created by leading experts and scholars in the field of economics. In addition, the programs are accredited by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and the Agency for Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Croatia. Two independent international institutions awarded the university with ISO 9001 standard for the quality of teaching in higher education in economics and business management.
