Mälardalen University (Mälardalens Högskola) was founded in 1977 and has campuses in Eskilstuna and Västerås. The university’s 15,000 students study courses and curricula in Business, Healthcare, Engineering and Education, conduct research in all areas of education and have outstanding international research in future energy and embedded systems. Close cooperation with the private and public sectors allows to practically introduce the results of university developments.
