Founded in 2003, University of Luxembourg (Universitéit vu Lëtzebuerg) is multilingual, international and research-focused. Given that students come from more than 100 countries, research and teaching staff from 50 countries, and the fact that the university has more than 60 partner educational institutions around the globe, “internationality” is one of the best characteristics that describes university. It is one of the few in the world to offer bilingual (French-German, French-English), trilingual and English teaching courses. Students and research and teaching staff have chosen a modern educational institution with a personal atmosphere that is close to European institutions. The University of Luxembourg offers a number of Bachelor’s programmes, although it focuses more on Master’s and Postgraduate programmes. Research is aimed at choosing priority areas.
