Leibniz University Hannover (Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover) was founded in 1831 by Karl Karmarsch. The work of the Higher Vocational School of Hanover began with 64 students. Today, there are more than 25,000 students in the fields of Natural Sciences and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as in the field of Law and Economics. In the future, teaching and research at Leibniz University in Hanover will be constantly improved.
