University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Uniwersytet Warmińsko-Mazurski) is a Polish public university. The main campus is located in the Kortovo area. The university was founded on September 1, 1999 by merging the Agricultural and Technical Academy in Olsztyn, the Higher Pedagogical School and the Warmian Theological Institute. More than 40,000 students study at the University at 16 faculties and 49 areas.
