University of Patras (Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών) was founded in 1964 in the city of Patras. It is the third largest university in Greece in terms of the number of students, faculty, administrative staff, as well as the number of faculties and accredited student places. The University of Patras has 24 faculties, with a large number of specialties, offering a wide range of disciplines, as well as providing access to use by 112 laboratories and 14 fully equipped clinics.

The University of Patras has a high reputation for quality and innovative research and is actively involved in many research projects and is a member of many research organisations and research groups. Along with teaching and research, the University of Patras is a very lively campus, whose life, full of interesting events, attracts a large number of applicants every year.
