Jules Verne University of Picardy (Université de Picardie Jules Verne) was founded in 1971. The university consists of 7 institutes and 11 faculties. The University consists of: the Faculty of Arts, History and Geography, Foreign Languages and Cultures, Sports Science, Economics and Management, Medical, Law, Science, Philology and Pharmacy. It has a large library with 370,000 books and 9,900 subscriptions.
