University of Rijeka (Sveučilište u Rijeci) is a university in the Croatian city of Rijeka. Founded in 1973, but the history of individual faculties dates back to 1627. Today, the university has more than 16,000 students. It consists of 9 faculties, an academy of arts, four departments, a university library and a student centre.
