Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Politechnika Wrocławskaology) is a leading research and educational centre in Poland. The development of the university is confirmed by scientific potential, didactics at the highest level, innovations, as well as cooperation with industry enterprises.
Wroclaw University of Science and Technology is the successor of the German University Königliche Technische Hochschule Breslau, as well as the intellectual and scientific heritage of Lviv Polytechnic. The University, like Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, has been operating since 1945. Its creators and organizers were scientists from Lviv and Warsaw. From the very beginning it was an important centre of technical education. Today it is one of the largest and best technical universities in the country, of which 32,000 students are educated by 2,000 academic staff at 16 faculties.
