University of Granada (Universidad de Granada) was founded in 1531 and is located in a unique location – close to the Sierra Nevada, an excellent ski resort, and the Mediterranean coast, with many tourist attractions, including Motril, Almunecar and Salobrena.
Granada has four university campuses, as well as the Campus Centro, which brings together all the centres located in the historic part of the city. The University of Granada’s policy on the use of buildings of historical and cultural value has enriched its heritage, as well as helping to restore and maintain these buildings. In addition, the emphasis on more traditional elements, such as the Medical Science Park, which is still improving, demonstrates our commitment to innovation by fostering collaboration between biomedical technology companies and maintaining high quality healthcare and biomedical knowledge.
