Transilvania University of Brasov (Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov) is a public university in Brasov, Romania, founded in 1971. The university offers 103 specialties at 16 faculties with 19,000 students and more than 700 teachers.
The Transylvania University of Brasov is a state institute of higher education with more than half a century of tradition, designed to provide and develop resources and tools for highly qualified teaching and research, such as competitiveness in the European field of higher education and research. The University is evolving within the dynamics of today’s knowledge-based society, building on its faculty, which coordinates numerous interdisciplinary national and international projects, both scientific and educational, and organizes high-quality international conferences and forums.
