On February 8th, 2002, Ambassador of the French Republic in Ukraine Jean-Paul Vézien and Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Academician Mykhailo Zgurovsky signed the Agreement on creation of the French Information and Educational Centre on the territory of the University. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, representatives of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the public.
