Project Description

Karabuk University is a public university in Karabuk, Turkey. It was founded in 2007 as one of the 17 new universities of the time in Turkey. KBÜ’s academic structure includes fourteen faculties, four postgraduate courses, four schools and seven vocational schools. The main campus is located in the suburb of Balalarkass Karabuk. Most of the university’s centers and faculties are located on campus. Karabuk University Stadium is located at the end and at the highest point of the campus. In addition to the main function of the football field, the stadium serves as a sports school: it serves as the main gathering place for large-scale events such as football games, graduation ceremonies, concerts, festivals, fairs and more. Karabuk University Square welcomes students and other visitors right after the entrance bridge to the campus. The area is located between the rector’s building and the faculty buildings. The University is a member of the Caucasus University Association.

SELECTION CRITERIA AND NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

For students (study for one or two semesters):

  • Students of 2–5 years of study and PhD students;

  • Average grade for Bachelors not lower than 75, Masters not lower than 80;

  • Transcript of Records, translated in English;

  • Language Competence Certificate (In English or Turkish);

For academic staff (teaching during 2 weeks – 3 months):

  • CV in English;

  • Academic portfolio (including CV which has publications, projects, works, seminars etc. in appropriate field);
